FRANKFURT (AFP) - – The European Central Bank kept its main interest rate at a record low point of 1.0 percent Thursday, a bank spokesman said, as markets awaited comment by ECB president Jean-Claude Trichet on the Greek debt crisis.
The ECB also kept two other benchmark rates, the marginal lending rate and the deposit rate, unchanged at 1.75 percent and 0.25 percent.
