Stephanie Sims - Celebrity News Service Reporter Denver, CO (CNS) - Denver police are still on the hunt for the gunmen responsible for opening fire after a rap concert early Sunday morning.
As people left an E-40 concert at Club Vinyl at about 1:45 am December 28, three men fired guns at three other individuals outside. According to witnesses who spoke to MTV.com, approximately 100 people were standing outside the club when the shooting took place.
The gunfire also hit a nearby hotel. A total of five people were injured, and the gunmen fled the scene.
One victim is in critical condition. Police also reported that it is unclear whether all five victims attended the concert.
Unfortunately, Vinyl Club has a violent past. Denver city records show 14 criminal incidents occurred at Vinyl's address from January to November this year, including four cases of aggravated assault that involved weapons.
Three of those cases occurred around closing time, according to the report.
Bay Area rapper E-40 has had no comment.
