Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "The Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels is suing a home video company for cheating her of exercise video payments.
The 34-year-old fitness trainer claims Genius Products should have paid her more than $550,000 in royalties and bonuses from her 2005 instructional video "The Biggest Winner: How to Win by Losing." She was instead paid just a $100,000 cash advance, as per TMZ.com.
In her suit she filed on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Michaels alleges that the company used "fraudulent and unfair accounting methods so as to avoid paying additional sums."
She also claims that Genius refused to sell the videos on request in an attempt to avoid paying her additional bonuses.
Michaels is seeking at least $550,000.
