SEOUL, Feb 1 - Seoul shares opened higher on Tuesday following on Wall Street gains on eased concerns over anti-government protests in Egypt.
Gains were led by heavyweights such as steelmaker POSCO <005490.KS>, which rose 3 percent.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index <.KS11> was up 0.69 percent at 2,083.93 points as of 0005 GMT.
